Bloody hell.</p> <p>I ended up hand-sawing through five HUUUGE roots, then putting a small trolley-jack underneath it to jack the big bastard out!</p> <p>I figured if my little car jack can lift a 2.5T car up on two wheels.. it can tear this treestump out of the ground. It was meant to be five miles, at least that’s what my virtual trainer Jeff Gaudette reckoned I should be doing via Runkeeper.</p> <p>Five miles for the first run, I mean for fucks sake. Anyway I managed 4.69 miles Jeff so I hope that’s ok.</p> <p>Frankly I could have done a bit more but it would have meant running back past my house again and then returning which I simply could not face.
